I'm not an expert on green day, I'm not even a great guitarist but I don't think this song is as complicated as people are making it. The only slightly odd thing is the Csus2. Of course I could be wrong. Have some fun with it, I play it in open chords, but if you'd rather use bar chords or power chords.....
