21 Guns – Green Day INFO: GUITARS: Guitars 1 and 3 are Billie Joe and/or Jeff Matika, who plays what live appears to vary. Guitar 2 is Jason White. I know that guitar 4 is Mike Dirnt on bass guitar and should have a different tab but “bass guitar” has the word guitar in it and that’s a good enough excuse for me. Guitar 1 – Acoustic Guitar 2 – Electric Guitar 3 – Electric Guitar 4 – Bass I've tried to tab the bass part without open strings because playing with one hand doesn’t feel right to me, not that I actually own a bass. Feel free to change notes on the 5th fret to an open string or whatever if you feel the need. STRUMMING: The actual strumming used for guitars 1 and 3 in the verse is a bit more imaginative than what I’ve put, but the rhythm I’ve used is easier to read and easily recognizable as 21 guns. I know that when I've developed a strumming pattern that’s a bit more interesting over time, I’m sure you can do something similar.
