The Seekers are an Australian folk-influenced pop music group formed in Melbourne in 1962. They were the first Australian band to achieve major chart and sales success in the UK and the US, becoming internationally famous in the 1960s. Known for their rich harmonies and acoustic sound, the group featured lead singer Judith Durham, whose clear, powerful voice became their signature. The Seekers were pioneers of the Australian music scene and remain one of the country's most beloved and successful acts.
