Hello U2 lovers!! If you are a guitar player, you will surely appreciate the files that I've produced. I've put together all of the files that are hanging 'round the Net containing chords and tabs for U2's songs and made them separate bye albums. Not all fo them are complete, but that depends on you sending me corrections and additions so that others can enjoy them! I've been on vacation the last couple of months, so these are the same versions I posted on December (except for War 0.3, which was never posted, I believe). All files have a name and a release number. Please distribute them. I will try to update these files next week, as I have some upcoming corrections: (1) "Some days..." in Zooropa (2) "Seconds" and "New Year's Day" in War (3) Whatever gets to me before next Wednesday! Enjoy and take care. The glass is cut, the bottle runs dry Our love runs cold in the caverns of the night We're wounded by fear, injured in doubt I can lose myself, you I can't live without Because you keep me holding on In Red Hill Town, as the lights go down I'm hanging on ... And we scorch the earth, set fire to the sky Stoop so low to reach so hihgh A link is lost, the chain undone Now we wait all day for the night to come And it comes And it comes Like a hunter (child) I'm hanging on You're all that's left to hold on to I'm hanging on You're all that's left to hold on to
We see lGove slDowly stripped away Our lFove, has seCen a better day
I'm hanging on You're all that's left to hold on to I'm holding on You're all that's left to hold on to See the lights go down on Red Hill Town See lights go down on Red Hill Town ****************************************************************************** In God's Country -- ----- -------

WCe turn away to face the Fcold, enduring chill As the dBbay begs the niFght for meCrcy Your sun's so bright it leaves no shadows, only scars Carved into stone on the face of earth The moon is up and over One Tree Hill We see the sun go down in your eyes
You ran like rBbiveFr to the sCea Like a rBbiveFr to the sCea
And in our world a heart of darkness, a firezone Where poets speak their hearts, then bleed for it Jara sang, his song a weapon, in the hands of love You know his blood still cries from the ground It runs like a river to the sea, like a river to the sea I don't believe in painted roses or bleeding hearts While bullets rape the night of the merciful I'll see you again when the stars fall from the sky And the moon has turned red over One Tree Hill We run like a river to the sea, like a river to the sea ****************************************************************************** Exit ----

His head it felt heavy as he cut across the land A dog started crying like a broken hearted man At the howling wind... the howling wind He went deeper into black, deeper into white... he could see the stars shine like nails in the night He felt the healing, healing, healing, healing hands of love Like the stars shiny, shiny... from above. He put his hands in the pocket, his finger on the steel The pistol weighed heavy, his heart he could feel Was beating, beating, beating, beating oh my love Oh my love, oh my love, oh my love. The hands of love) ****************************************************************************** Mothers of the Disappeared (tab) -------------------------- The main guitar is acoustic, and the 2nd guitar is a distorted electric. How to decipher my notation: top line is guitar type (if it is necessary to point out), 2nd line is lyrics, 3rd line is chord names, 4th is treble rhythm. Then the TAB, and under that is bass rhythm. You'll figure it out. Notation: s - sixteenth note e - eighth note q - quarter note h - half note w - whole note ^ - ties two note lengths together . - play note for one and a half times the value before it (just like a dot in standard notation) NOTE LENGTHS IN CAPITAL LETTERS MEAN REST FOR THAT VALUE OF TIME! / - slide up - slide down h - hammer-on p - pull-off (Acoustic guitar - let ring)
