Tuning: E A D G B E
Not a lot of Pretenders tunes tabbed out on the net so I thought I would add.
'Thumbelina' is one of the tracks from 1983's Learning to Crawl LP.
Chrissie plays the "E" chord open but the "A" , "B" and "G" chords are barred 'E' at
the 5th 7th and 3rd frets respectively
This song is AWESOME!
Thumbelina - The Pretenders
EHush little baby, don't you cry
When we get to Tucson you'll see why
We left the snowstorms and the thunder and rain
For the desert sun, we're gonna be born again
WhBat's important iAn this world
A Blittle boy, aA little girl E
EHush little darling, go to sleep
Look out the window and count the sheep
That dot the hillsides and the fields of wheat
Across America as we cross America
WhatB's important heAre today
BThe broken lineA on the highwayE
E-F-F#-G (single notes or barre chords)
GAll the love in the wEorld for you, girl
GThumbelina in a gEreat big scary world
E-F-F#-G (single notes or barre chords)
GAll the love in the woErld for you, girl
GTake my hand and weA'll makeB it through this woErld
EHush little baby, my poor little thing
You've been shuffled about like a pawned wedding ring
It must seem strange, love was here then gone
And the Oklahoma sunrise becomes the Amarillo dawn
