Date: Wed, 22 Nov 1995 01:15:24 -0500 From: ccd5@po.cwru.edu (CHRIStopher DOLL) Subject: TAB: <Free as a Bird> by <The Beatles> I got the album today and I had to post this because the only posting so far is CRD file, which I can never get to work. There is more to this song than you might think at first. Sorry, I don't know the lyrics yet. Main Theme Chords: A F#m Fmaj7 E A F#m Dm E A F#m Dm G
Modified Main Theme ChorCds: Am Esus4 E A F#m Fmaj7 E A F#m Dm E A F#m Dm G C Am E+ G Bridge 1 Chords: F D G A F D Bridge 2 Chords: G Esus4 E F D Middle Eight Chords: G E C Am Fm G C Am Fm G Coda Chords: C Am Fm G A F#m Fmaj7 E A F#m Dm E A F#m Dm G A F#m Dm G A F#m Dm G A F#m Dm G A
Opening - Main Theme Verse 1 - Main Theme Verse 2 - Main Theme Bridge 1 - Bridge Verse 3 - Main Theme Verse 4 - Modified Main Theme Bridge 2 - Bridge 2 Guitar Solo - Middle Eight Coda - Coda And that little thing at the end is kind of confusing. Basically, the A chord is going haywire over the A-E-F#-G bass line, but in the background you can here the ukulele in the background somehow resolving to a D major chord, with an appropriate A to D finish. All of my postings were picked out by ear, so if you see of any mistakes, please mail me. ccd5@po.cwru.edu
