Tuning: E A D G B E
This is the fourth and final song in the That's Why God Made the Radio ending suite. The acoustic guitar in this song is pretty low in the mix so this is really just a transposition of the entire song's instrumentation onto one guitar. It's actually very simple chord-wise for the bulk of the song. The intro is played on a tack piano. I tabbed it out here and wrote the chord progression without tab below it. I just fingerpick it but a pick could also be used. This piano part plays through a lot of the song but this is really the only vital part. For the first verse, I hear a Bb6 in place of the normal Bb. It might just be because the keyboard and melody play a G but it sounds nice as written. In that vein, I've included some more chords for inflection for the rest of the song too. The D7sus2 might just be result of the production and it sounds more like a D9, but I just made it a suspended chord for ease of playing. Well, that's it. I really enjoyed transcribing these songs. Let me know in the comments if there are any other songs you'd like me to have a go at.
