Basically all you’re doing is playing the riff on top of the chords. The chords for the intro, verses, and
links are G and Em. The chords for the chorus are C and G. The riff is:
|1+2+3+4+| |1+2+3+4+|
E|--------| |--------|
B|0-------| |3-3-1-1-|
G|--0---0-| x3 |--------| x1
D|---4----| |--------|
A|--------| |--------|
E|--------| |--------|
So when you put that together, you get the chords written out at the top. Playing just one chord looks
something like this then:
|1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + | |1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + |
|G-----GM7---G---| x3 |G*------Gsus4---|
Just repeat this pattern for every chord:
|Em Emsus2| x3 |Em7 Emb6|
|CM7 CM7b5| x3 |Cadd9 C|
BTW, I don’t play the high E because it changes the G to a G6 and messes with its quality, so i just leave it
out of every chord. I mute the G string with my pinky when I’m playing the second chord because it kinda
clashes with the open G. But if you want that sweet touch of ugliness or don’t care about hitting the high E,
go for it fam.

On that last Em, I suggest really slamming those chords to build up to the final G.
If you have questions/suggestions/etc, hmu in the comments and I’ll probably get back to you. Peace.
