/ You Are the Sunshine of My Life / So now that I cav, I've made this guitar
/ Talking Book / arrangement I always wanted! Enjoy :D

I don't think this proves any justice to the up-tempo original, but again this
is also just to share and teach some of the amazing harmonies. AND this is one
of the rare times, when all of the advanced harmonies actually kind of fit! :P
Tuning: D A D G B d (just drop both E-strings to D)
Capo: 4th fret (for the original key of B major)
Intro:
B(2) F#aug

A:
The first bar shows a suggestion for at picking pattern. Notice the timing
Of the bass(b) and the timing of the accents(a). The rest is just filling.

In the 2nd part B, the song modulates up a half step, and I see no way around
moving the capo up one fret to the 5th get there.
2.
F#11 G11
|-0---------------||-0---------------|
|-1---------------||-1---------------|
|-0---------------||-0---------------|
|-2---------------||-2---------------| ...and now you're in C major!
|-0---------------||-0---------------|
|-0---------------||-0---------------|
The most musical way of doing this, which I have found so far, is to play the
bar of F#11, break for a bar while moving the capo, and then play the bar of
what will then be G11. (In the break, the singer can hold the "you" for show.)
From here just repeat part A until fading out. The chords names will then be:
| C | G/F | Em7 | F#/A |
| Dm7 | G11 | C | Dm7 G11 |
LYRICS
**********
You are the sunshine of my life
That's why I'll always be around
You are the apple of my eye
Forever you'll stay in my heart
I feel like this is the beginning
'though I've loved you for a million years
And if I thought our love was ending
I'd find myself drowning in my own tears
You are the sunshine of my life
That's why I'll always stay around
You are the apple of my eye
Forever you'll stay in my heart
You must have known that I was lonely
Because you came to my rescue
And I know that this must be heaven
How could so much love be inside of you
You are the sunshine of my life
That's why I'll always stay around
You are the apple of my eye
Forever you'll stay in my heart
