Not a great song to tab because the guitar isn't as sick now that John left. But me and my bros are learning this song so we can cover it and I thought I might help out any other guitarists that were hoping to do the same. You could do a lot of sliding or even whammy bar usage to get a sound more like the recording (on top of a heap of chorus). [Verse 3] [Chorus 3] [Outro/Solo] This whole section has a lot of tremolo effects on it, if you've got a delay pedal just turn up the repeats a lot, I think it has a bit of the 'phase' effect as well, not too sure tho.
