His enthusiasm captured my interest, and so, I began to search for some of McCartney's new material. Before my quest was complete, I happen chanced upon nearly all of his new album, Chaos and Creation in the Backyard. While I was searching for the new material, I discovered this particular song, "Too Much Rain." I was able to transcribe the unknown fairly quickly and easily, and so, as my first official tab, I would like to give it to all of you who would wish to see it! Notes: The basic chord progression listed below is identical to that which McCartney plays on his album, but the chords' configuration is subject to translation, as is the strum. If you would like to experiment with different variations of chords, an excellent dictionary can be found at http://www.chordfind.com. The lyrics were adapted from the booklet within the CD case. On this song, McCartney, the "one-man band," is credited with playing a Bosendorfer Grand Piano, Fender Stratocaster Electric Guitar, Martin D28 Acoustic Guitar, Martin 12 String Guitar, Hofner Bass Guitar, Epiphone Casino Electric Guitar, Schmidt Autoharp, Ludwig Drums, Maracas, and Vocals. On a separate note: there are several other artists who have songs entitled "Too Much Rain." Carole King's celebrated album "Music" (1971) and ATB's (German DJ André Tanneberger) "Movin' Melodies" (1998) both feature a song entitled "Too Much Rain." I hope that this help out!
