Hi everyone, this is my first tab, so sorry if there is some mistakes. I saw Porco Rosso by Studio Ghibli and I love this track composed by Joe Hisaishi. Then I listened to an english version of the song on youtube ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CpvJySCN9j8 ) by Helen Edgeworth and I wanted to play and sing it by myself, but there weren't no tab. I don't think it's the same as the original, I´ve transcribed most of it by ear. Original music: © Tokiko Kato 1992 English lyrics: © Helen Edgeworth 2014 Porco Rosso: © Studio Ghibli 1992 Tab: Aldo, listen to my music if you want ^^ https://soundcloud.com/accro997 Hope you'll like it! Once in a Awhile, when you have Etime, let’s talk ofF#m days that have gC#mone by, At the old cDafé where you and AI used to gBmo. E
Look at the tArees, losing their leaEves; Summer will F#mfade, and so willC#m we
But I won’tD forget all of the Amemories thatBm we made. E We’d sF#mpend our days at theC#m café,
Watching theD world, seeing it cC#mhange, “We’ll stay theD same,” we used toA say,
We used toBm say. E
Back when Dwe had dreams and Ehopes, Life didn’t C#mseem such an uphill F#mslope,
How Dmuch there was that we Bmstill didn’t Eknow. Isn’t that Aso?

Out on the Aroad, nowhere toE go, you were theF#m place that I calledC#m home, Because with Dyou, I knew I’dA never be aBmlone. E
People moveA on, soon they are Egone, But I was F#msure that you were theC#m one
Who’d never Dleave; who’d’ve Abelieved I’d be soBm wrong? E
You went F#maway, I chose to C#mstay, Now not a Dtrace of you C#mremains
Except for theD picture of yourA face You Bmtried to eErase.
You Dtook all my dreams andE hopes, And now C#mlife’s just an uphill F#mslope,
But I Dknow that I must Bmtry to cope on my Eown. Isn’t thatA so?

Once in a Awhile, when you have Etime, let’s talk ofF#m days that have goneC#m by, At the old Dcafé where you andA I used toBm go. E
All of the Atrees have lost their Eleaves, Summer hasF#m faded just likeC#m me;
I’ll always Dregret the Amemories that we neverBm made. E
My body has F#maged, my hair has turnedC#m grey, But something Dinside has still stayed theC#m same,
“I love you,” I’d Dsay, and that hasn’t Achanged, BmThat will not Echange.
When my Dlife gets too much toE bear, And I amC#m weighed down by F#mdespair,
I Dtry to tell Bmmyself that you still Ecare, Somewhere outA there.
