Small World by Madness, from their 2012 album "Oui Oui, Si Si, Ja Ja, Da Da".
Written by Daniel Woodgate.
Notes:
In Chorus 3, the vocals from both Chorus 1 and Chorus 2 are sung at the same time.
To denote this, I've put the backing vocals in brackets underneath the lead.
Also, the guitar plays a brief Dsus4 in verses 1 and 2 but I've omitted it for simplicity.
Bass line for intro/verse one [outlines a Dm(add9), causing the dissonance with the keys]:
Note that the bass in in drop d tuning. Each - represents am 8th note (quaver)

[Verse 1]
DmI sat and watched the crowds in London
DmI know each road by name
DmToday the streets are cold and empty
DmCause no one likes the rain
DI soon lost count of all the cars
FThat burned so bright outside the bars
DDeserted streets and burning shells
FFamiliar shops I know so well
[Verse 2]
DmToday the birds no longer twitter
DmThe words don't make it true
DmWhen there's no line I'm up the junction
DmI can't be there with you
DI've always got a magic line
FThat I tap into any time
DI watch the world by day and night
FIt's very close but out of sight
[Chorus]
ESmall World
Spent toDgether
Spent in wConder
Linked forBever
[Verse 3]
DThe words were out and spread like fires
FFrom good to bad, habitual liars
DThe drama queens rejoice again
FUntil the next time, who knows when?
[Solo]

EWe could be miles apart forever
DBut we are somehow here together

EWe could be miles apart forever
(Small world___ spent)
DBut we are somehow here together
(together spent in)
C The world is always talking somewhere
(wonder linked for-)
BAnd we can choose or not to be there
(ever)
EWe could be miles apart forever
(Small world___ spent)
DBut we are somehow here together
(together spent in)
C The world is always talking somewhere
(wonder linked for-)
BAnd we can choose or not to be there E
