Also when playing harmonics, plug the guitar into an effects pedal so you can actually hear the harmonics well - especially on harmonics 9* and 3* - like a sustain pedal and a pretty heavy distortion pedal (depending on which part of the song and what it sounds like). Effects usually heighten the sound of harmonics.
