Capo: 3
Standard Tuning Capo 3rd Fret This is how I play this song, I think it sounds pretty good. I believe "officially" the verses are played slightly different, but I play them both the same. Also "officially" are alot more chords written down, but I leave a few out to make it easier to strum of pluck like the actual song.
He is Dhere for the broken Bm7life to the one who is unGdone Asus A He is pDeace to the wounded Bm7hope for the helpless Em7one Asus A He is hGere He is hAsusere A
CHORUS
Be stiDll my soAsusul be stiGll Be stEm7ill my soDul be stiAll Wait patieDntly upAmon the LGord Be stiEm7ll my souAsusl be stillD
I strum A-G-Asus-A through here
When the waDves rise against me and the wiBm7nd tries to draw me aGway Asus A I will sDtand on the mountain Bm7safe in your arms I will sEm7ing... I will sAsusing
CHORUS
GBe still... and know he is God He is here He is Asushere A
There are some subtle chords changes in the Bridge within the G spectrum, but I cant them down, I usually just ad-lib dropping a few strings off the G until I can make it to Asus. The ending is played the same as the chorus except I personally play the last line like so:
Be stilEm7l my souAsusl, be stiGll....
