With my Abig lunch box and with help from my friends,

The Efirst day I got me a fuel pump
And the Anext day I got me an engine and a trunk.

The little things I could get in my big lunch box,

B7But the big stuff we snuck out in my buddy'Es mobile home.
Now, Eup to now my plan went alright,
Till we Atried to put it all together one night.
And B7that's when we noticed that something was definitelyE wrong.
The transmission was a '53, and theA motor turned out to be a '73,
And B7when we tried to put in the bolts all the holes wereE gone.
So, we drilled it out so that it would fit,
And with a little Abit of help from an adapter kit
We B7had that engine running just like aE song.
Now, the Eheadlights, they was another sight.
We had Atwo on the left and one on the right.
But B7when we pulled out the swith, all three of 'em comeE on.
The back end looked kind of funny, too,
But weA put it together and when we got through,
Well, B7that's when we noticed that we only had one tailE fin.
About that time my wife walked out,
And I could Asee in her eyes that she had her doubts.
But she B7opened the door and said, "Honey, take me fEor a spin."
So, we drove uptown just to get the tags,
And I headed her right on down main drag.
I could hear ev'rybody laughin' for blocks around.
But up there at the courthouse they didn't laugh,
'Cause to type it up it took the whole staff.
And when they got through, the title weighed sixty punds.
