Country Roads
DAlmost heaven, HmWest Virginia
ABlue Ridge Mountain, SGhenandoah RDiver
Life is old there, Hmolder than the trees
AYounger than the mountains
GGrowing like a Dbreeze
DCountry roads take me Ahome
To the Hmplace I Gbelong
West DVirginia, Mountain AMama
Take me Ghome country Droads
DAll my memories Hmgather 'round her
AMiners Lady, Gstranger to blue Dwater
Dark and dusky Hmpainted on the sky
AMisty taste of moonshine
GTeardrop in my Deye
DCountry roads take me Ahome
To the Hmplace I Gbelong
West DVirginia, Mountain AMama
Take me Ghome country Droads
HmI hear the Avoice in the Dmorning hour - she D7calls me
The Gradio Dreminds me of my Ahome far away
And Hmdriving down the Croad I get aG feeling
That I Dshould have been home Ayesterday, yA7esterday
DCountry roads take me Ahome
To the Hmplace I Gbelong
West DVirginia, Mountain AMama
Take me Ghome country Droads
---
I basically play the intro pattern throughout the entire song.
I Play the bass note of the current chord, pluck the two bottom strings at the same
time, then, (for most chords) I play the E-string whilst holding the same chord, then
pluck the two bottom strings again and proceed to the next chord.
