This is the way we play it at my church, I use a light overdrive, or in some cases just the neck pickup, and a dotted eighth delay set at 112, or you can tap it out. The hardest thing about this song was the timing, and I would definitely finger pick everything until the strumming in the later part of the song. This is the rhythm part. Chords, C F G Am Bm D-10--10--12--14---12 G-9---10--12--12---10 B-8---10--12--13---10 On the transitions from the F to the G while finger picking, I let the chord ring and re-strike the D string and slide up to the G, when going from the G to the Am, I just hammer on the D and B strings. In the verse the G is only played for one count. Use those chords through the whole song, whether strumming or finger picking it's really simple once you get the hang of it.
