In The Ghetto - Presley Elvis
When I wrote this tab I tuned my guitar up ½ step so the song is in A# but the
tab in A. There is actually no guitar in some parts of the song so I didn't
tab those parts (I still wrote down the chords). I recommend you just play
those chords similarly to the 'C#m, D and E part' showed below or if you're in
a band consider just don't playing them.
I don't have perfect hearing so there are probably mistakes in this tab but
hopefully just minor ones. I also don't speak perfect english.

This is the A/Asus4 part. Just play this every time you read 'A/Asus4'.

A/Asus4 (2x)
As the snow flies,
on a C#mcold and grey Chicago mornin'
a Dpoor little baby Echild is born
A/Asus4 (x2)
in the ghetto.
And his mama cries,
'Cause if C#mthere's one thing that she don't need
it's aDnother hungry Emouth to feed
in the A/Asus4ghetto.
Ah, people don't you Eunderstand'
The child needs a Dhelping Ahand,
D E or E7' A
or he'll grow to be an angry young man some day.
Ah, take a look at Eyou and me,
are we to Dblind to Asee'
DDo we simply C#mturn our head
and Bmlook the other Eway'
Well, the A/Asus4world turns.
And a C#mhungry little boy with a runny nose
Dplayes in the street as a Ecold wind blowes
A/Asus4 (2x)
in the ghetto.
And his hunger burns,
so he C#mstarts to roam the streets
and he Dlearns how to steal and he Elearns how to fight
in the A/Asus4ghetto.
EThen one night in desperation
Dthe young man breaks Aaway.
He Dbuys a gun, C#msteals a car,
Bmtries to run, but he Edon't get far,
and his A/Asus4moma cries.
As a C#mcrowd gathers 'round an angry young man,
face Ddown in the street with a Egun in his hand,
A/Asus4 (2x)
in the ghetto.
And as her young man dies,
on C#mcold and grey Chicago mornin',
Danother little baby Echild is born
A/Asus4 (7x)
in the ghetto.
And his moma cries...
