Strum up and down(st) at end of verse line one time, and tap(t) the strings with your hand to mute the sound. Do this over and over again with every chord in the first part of the verses. First part: Am E7 G D F C Dm E7 A|---si-st-t-----si-st-t--2--si-st-t-----si-st-t-----si-st-t--3--si-st-t-----si-stt--2--si-st-t--| E|0--si-st-t--0--si-st-t--3--si-st-t--2--si-st-t--1--si-st-t--0--si-st-t--1--si-stt--0--si-st-t--| C|0--si-st-t--2--si-st-t--2--si-st-t--2--si-st-t--0--si-st-t--0--si-st-t--2--si-stt--2--si-st-t--| G|2--si-st-t--1--si-st-t-----si-st-t--2--si-st-t--2--si-st-t-----si-st-t--2--si-stt-----si-st-t--| In the second part I increase the plucking to make a different sound. It can be done in so many ways. Play around with different pluckings to find your sound. This is the plucking pattern that I like the best. Second part: Am E7 G D F C Dm E7 A|-----------2-22-2---2--2-22-2-22----------0-----------0--3-33-3---3----------2-22-2-2--| E|0-00-0-00--0-00-0--0---3-33-3-33--2------2---1-11-1--1---0-00-0--0---1-11-1--0-00-0-0--| C|0-00-0-00--2-22-2-2----2-22-2-22--2-----2----0-00-0-0----0-00-0-0----2-22-2--2-22-2-2--| G|2-22-2-22-------------------------2----------2-22-2------------------2-22-2------------| PLUCKING PATTERN - CHORUS: The plucking in the chourus is pretty much the same thing I do in the verses. But different chords and different sound, so i will show it to you in the following tab. At end of chorus part, after last pluck on the E7, tap on strings to mute the sound and go right to verse.
