Duran Duran - Want You More! (2004)

Tuning: Standard
This is the second track from the band's Astronaut album. The song contains both
guitar and acoustic parts during the song. And the chords are fairly easy to grasp once you know
them.
The opening intro seems to revolve around a G/E chord, alternating between downward and upward
strokes each time the chord's played.
G/E

B|--8--8--8-----8--8--8--8--8------------------------------------------------|
G|--7--7--7-----7--7--7--7--7------------------------------------------------|
D|--9--9--9-----9--9--9--9--9------------------------------------------------|
A|--7--7--7-----7--7--7--7--7------------------------------------------------|
E|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
The verses are pretty much like the intro guitar. When performed live though, Andy
seems to end the riff by hitting an Esus4. But it doesn't sound like this is included on the album
version, though it's a neat way to end it.

E|-------------------------------7--------------------------------------|
For the "Whatever I'm thinking of..." parts, it's a bit tricky to hear what Andy Taylor
doing for these parts. However, I did my best to get an idea of what he was trying to play
here. Either way, I think he's using some chords that aren't really obvious. But it
should be similar to this progression.

These are the chords played during the chorus of the song. There is also an acoustic
in the middle of the song, which uses the same chords. If you've seen the song peformed live,
this break is the part Simon LeBon plays on his acoustic guitar. The chorus is pretty
much straight downward strokes, while the acoustic break is more freestyle obviously.
Repeat as times as needed.

above chords.
