Coldplay - Up with the birds

Alright, this song is divided in three parts. The first part is almost completely piano, the second is almost completely strings and other ambience, and the third part is almost completely guitar. Also, Coldplay tunes their guitar's 1st string to D and capos it on the 7th fret. If you want to go ahead and figure out the chords, be my guest. It sounds like 4/4 but it's actually 6/8, which was confusing for a while. Just count the song and you'll see. (1st part, just strum once to simulate piano)
