White Lion is an American glam metal band formed in New York City in 1983 by Danish vocalist Mike Tramp and American guitarist Vito Bratta. They rose to fame in the late 1980s with hits like "Wait", "When the Children Cry", and "Little Fighter". Their most successful album, Pride (1987), achieved double platinum status. Known for melodic guitar solos and powerful vocals, White Lion disbanded in the early 1990s but later reformed with different lineups under Mike Tramp.
